Cabramatta...Pho Tau Bay

@ Saturday, 19 January 2013In case you didn't know, Cabramatta is the vietnamese hub of Sydney.
A must try in Cabramatta is the sugar cane juice - there are several stores selling it (even at 1am in the morning together with the vietnamese bread rolls 'Banh Mi Thit', amazing...! ) as well as an Avocado shake .. Wink's personal favourite. I'm not even sure how many Avocado shakes he went through whilst in Sydney!
Anyways, I love eating pho. And vietnamese food in general.
There's something about the simple combination of beef, rice noodles and broth in Pho that make it so amazing to eat! Well in most places anyway... ;)
Pho Tau Bay in Cabramatta certainly didn't disappoint - definitely nom-worthy! Compared to some of the broths that we've tried at other vietnamese places that taste artificial and full of MSG, the broth here was fresh and full of meaty bone flavour.

They also had other dishes available, but we only ordered the large Pho Dac Biet (Special beef noodle soup.. has tripe, raw beef, beef brisket mmmmmmm). Be aware that the large bowl is quite... large! The boys could finish it but if you're a smaller eater than me then it might be harder to finish a large.
Certainly one of the best Pho place I've been to. Will definitely be going here again the next time we're back in Cabramatta!
